mihome launcher

If you’ve ever used MIUI, you know that the biggest known feature of the ROM is their launcher. The great guys from the custom ROM development team decided to release their official launcher to the Play Store. Now, even if you don’t want to use MIUI, you can still bask in the awesomeness of this unique launcher. This is not just another home replacement, this is the latest, greatest, most unique of all home replacements. The only downside is, the app is only available for 2.3+ and 4.0+ devices. All of you on FroYo will have to wait until it’s supported, or find another way to get it on your device.

What’s the best part of this app, you might ask? Well, I’d have to say, it’s the fact that you can use the themes made for MIUI on it, as well as icon packs. This will most definitely make your device the coolest on the block. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself, I promise you’ll love it.

I started toying with Android in June of 2010. I got my first android phone on my 14th birthday from my Dad. I rooted it not too long afterwards and started messing with custom ROMs. Not to much longer after that (I’d say end of July, beginning of August) I started making themes. I made a whole series of themes called the midnight series. (http://droidforums.net/forum/davidjr621). I started my own ROM about mid November (which caused me to stop updating the midnight themes). The ROM had one or two releases then I didn’t have time to maintain it, along with my school work and after school activities.
