OG Samsung Galaxy Tab gets bootable ICS ROM

One of the first real Android tablets to ever hit the scene, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, just got a little bit cooler thanks to a group of developers from the XDA Forums. Angel_666, koxudaxi, ani55, and several other awesome folks managed to get the latest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, to boot on the 7-inch tablet — the first real opposition to the iPad when it was first released. As you can imagine, there’s still a handful of things that need to be worked out before this ROM will qualify as your daily driver, but again, it’s always awesome to see the Gods at work on a device you own.
