Photos of Upcoming T-Mobile Samsung QWERTY Phone Leak Out

If you’re the type who just cannot adapt to touchscreen smartphones, you may be interested to learn about an upcoming Samsung device that looks like will be headed to T-Mobile. Say hello to the SGH-T699. A while back, a device with this model number was rumored to be a Magenta version of the Galaxy Nexus. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case.
Instead, it looks to be the phone in the photo above. Spotted by Tmo News, it looks like this yet-to-be-named device will feature a 5 megapixel camera on the back along with front-facing camera and an LED notification light as well.
Otherwise, there isn’t much more we can tell you about this one yet, other than it does come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. No word as to whether it will be an S3 or S4 chip, but we’re definitely hoping for the latter. No pricing or release date information is available either, so it looks like we’re going to have to wait this one out for a bit.
What are your thoughts on phones with keyboards? Are they outdated? Good for nostalgia? I don’t think I’ll ever own another QWERTY device again myself, but I’m willing to bet there’s still a few of you out there who will be excited about this.
