With the 2012 NBA Playoffs right around the corner, this is one application I was quite pleased to hear about. PlayUp, a new social network application for Android, was launched earlier this week by a development team that goes by the same moniker. The app gives users free access to live scores from a ton of different sports, as well as allowing them to create private hangouts and chat with one another during the game via real-time instant messaging.
