Poll: Would you buy OMG!Droid-branded gear?

As a community site, we rely heavily on the feedback of our readers to improve upon what we do. Of course, we’re not zombies without any brains or direction of our own, but we’re always looking for ways to interact with our friends and family (all of you reading this) by asking your opinions and interacting with those who comment on our articles.

Before we get into the topic for tonight’s poll, let me give you a little background on our site and what we do. Sure, we do have ads implemented on the site, but being that they aren’t Google Adsense ads, we make very little each month in ad revenue.

Of course, the initial reaction for most will be to ask, “Why not just get Adsense on the site?”

The answer to that question is simple. We wish we could, but unfortunately the site was hacked about a year ago and our Adsense account ended up getting banned. I’ve appealed the disabling of the account, but without luck; so, now we’re stuck with what we can work with — and there isn’t much of a pot of gold at the end of the tunnel right now.

Perhaps there is a better option of monetizing a blog that I’m unaware of (feel free to drop hints in the comment thread if you have any).

For now, the option we’ve been kicking around as a team is to venture into the merchandise business, but I’ll be honest — I don’t really even know where to begin with it all. So, here I am, asking my fellow Android community members for advice, opinions and ideas.

So, I figured what better way to get advice, opinions and ideas than by starting a poll to kick off the discussion. We want to know your take on OMG!Droid-branded merchandise. Would you buy it? If so, what type of stuff would you be interested in?

We’ll start the poll off below to get a good idea of who’d be willing to shell out a few bucks, but please make sure to further voice your opinions in the comment thread, so we know what kind of stuff you guys and gals would like to see.
