Product Review: Belkin Verve Folio Stand for the Amazon Kindle Fire

A couple weeks back, I decided to completely rid myself of all Apple products and traded my iPod Touch on Craigslist for an Amazon Kindle Fire. In the deal, I also acquired a Belkin Verve Folio Stand, so I figured I’d throw together a quick review to share my thoughts. If you ask me, I really got a steal.

The case has a leather exterior and an inner lining that’s soft and smooth against your device. It works very well for protecting your device from scratches, but most likely wouldn’t fare well if dropped from any considerable height. One of the really nice features of the case is that it easily converts into a stand with multiple viewing angles. This makes it very easy to comfortably read or watch videos on your device.

The case is lightweight and fits the Kindle Fire very well. It has leather holders on all four corners and it holds the tablet snugly, so you don’t have to worry about your investment falling out of an ill-fit case.

The only downside I can point out for this case is its selling price. You can snag one from Belkin’s online store for $39.99, which seems just a bit steep, but I’m sure you can find a better deal out there somewhere if you’re willing to do a little digging. All in all, this is a very solid case and I highly recommend it if you can manage to find a slightly better price.
