Review: Amzer Nexus 7 Jelly Case (And contest!)

So here I have a simple case for the Nexus 7. By simple I simply mean the case has no extra function in it like cover or a magnet to enable the sleep function. This is basic but basic isn’t bad.
This Amzer case for the Nexus 7 won’t put you back much, and won’t give you too much if all you need is to protect the sides and back to your tablet. Though, I’ll let you know if you should invest in Amzer or try another brand.
Usually I write these reviews starting with the good and ending with the bad, but I’ll switch it up this time.
Bad:
First this case is rather heavy, or at least heavier than the two other types of basic cases I own. That may be good if you want extra bulk added on to your device for safe keeping. I personally feel that I like my devices should maintain the size that they came with, but I know people like in the construction business,…. But maybe you shouldn’t bring your tablet on the job huh?
Next thing that I didn’t like about this case, is that it attracts alot of dust and other various particles that may be on the surface where your 7 lays or in your pocket. It becomes rather tedious trying to clean it, although running it under water seems to be the best way. PSA: Take your tablet out of the case before doing this.
Lastly, 20$ isn’t going to break your wallet in the least but with other cases, such as smart cases and folio cases, available for less, it might may you rethink laying down the cash to get this case.
Good:
This case is minimal, as you may have seen in my other review I used to have a cover-type case, which at first seems great but starts to wear on me sometimes, especially with being a minimalist.
With being minimal it also provides enough protection around the most common drop points on your tablet — the corners and the back, and give you a little lip to protect the screen if face down. Adding to the best feature of having a Nexus 7, tossability. With this case on, you can toss your tablet on the couch or bed, and worry even less than you already should be.
Also, for the fashionistas, Amzer is providing this case in 10 different colors. That 2 more colors than the average guy can see! This is great if you’re tired of just seeing black or white devices, now you can customize it to your choice.
In conclusion, this isn’t a bad case to buy at all, but there are alot of different case on the market that provide more function for less price, and if you’re looking for a simple case with padding, I’d definitely tell you to drop the 20 dollars right at this moment.
If you’re looking to grab one of these right now head HERE to purchase it on Amzer’s website.
