Rockstar Games’ Max Payne shooting his way onto Android later this month

Now we’re freakin’ talking, kids. For those of you old enough to remember Max Payne, you’ll be excited to hear that Rockstar Games has announced plans to release a mobile version of the game for Android and iOS devices on April 26th. As per the announcement, it looks like Max Payne Mobile will feature features HD graphics, high-resolution textures, Social Club connectivity and user-customizable controls.

Unfortunately, we’re not sure which Android devices will be supported by the game just yet, but Rockstar promised they would be releasing a list soon.

Luckily, they were nice enough to drop a few screens of the game in action. Check ‘em out below:

No specifics were given on pricing, but with Grand Theft Auto III already available for $4.99, it only makes sense for Max Payne to be in the same ballpark.

Once the game is released, I’ll be picking it up and doing a review for those who would like to see it in action before buying.
