[ROM] – The myTouch 3G Still Alive And Kicking, Ginger-Style, Thanks To Ginger Yoshi!

For those of you running phones that can rule the world, or at least turn on 90% of your house, we medium-sized groups are tried-and-true legacy users, as we use phones that still to this day stand the test of time. For the myTouch 3G, its time is far from being over, as it has received more and more love from a small group calling themselves TEAM YOSHI, lead by XDA Developers member Yoshua. Giving us something that, at a time we would not have dreamed to be on our phones, has been a real treat. Calling the ROM “Ginger Yoshi”, currently running version 2.3.4, this ROM has been speedy, responsive, and just as customizable as any of the other Gingerbread ROMs for newer and faster devices. The ROM, based off CM 7, has many different flavor additions that are by far some of the best additions to get the most speed out of our phones.

Ginger Yoshi boasts everything you could ever want in a gingerbread rom and with a pairing speed that I have to say is up there with the Official 2.2 FROYO or even better there should be no reason not to have this phone rooted. For those of you with newer myTouch labeled phones, as well as others with new, exciting, and powerful phones, we oldies users are still holding strong, keeping up, and never backing down.
