Rovio’s Angry Birds Heikki launching next month

It looks like Rovio just can’t get enough of Angry Birds — even if the rest of the world passed the point of caring anymore a long time ago. The next installment of the bird-brained series is set to launch on June 18th, with a brand new theme that has nothing to do with space or seasons. This time around, the game is themed around Rovio’s F1 sponsorship of Heikki Kovalainen and F1 racing.

While, few details have been leaked regarding the upcoming new title, there is speculation that the new installment could be a Mario Kart-style game, so that’s at least one positive. If you’d like to take a look at the new teaser website for the game, feel free, but you won’t find any more details than what we’ve already given you.

What do you think? Should Rovio move on? We hear they’re coming out with a new, non-AB title in the coming weeks, called “Amazing Alex,” but we’ll hold off on commenting about that game til we get a chance to play it for ourselves.
