[Rumor] EVO LTE Release Date?

All you on Sprint I hope you’re ready to have some heartstrings pulled, especially with the Galaxy Nexus just being released yesterday. According to certain sources HTC and Sprint are planning on releasing the HTC EVO 4G LTE (Unnecessary/redundant name?) on May 18th.

The date makes sense, seeing as the preorder date according to Sprint.com is May 7th. Also the phone should be 199$ on a 2-year contract, as you can tell it will be a LTE enabled device which currently Sprint has only 6 LTE market cities. Also, the Phone will have Android and Sense UI 4.0. Other specs include:

1280 x 720p 4.7″ Screen
8MP Back Camera, 1.3MP FFC
1.5 Ghz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor
1GB of RAM
A 2,000 mAH Battery

So, does the date make sense to you? (Spot the pun)
