Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 coming in October with dual-core ARM-15 processor?
Just because it’s Monday, that doesn’t mean it has to be boring, right? Well, if you’re one to pay any mind to the rumor mill, you might be interested in this latest whispering, which hints towards the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. According to a post on GSMArena, the followup to the original Note may be arriving as soon as October 2012. Not surprising, considering the numbers the first device has accomplished worldwide — over 7 million since the device was launched in October of 2011.
As for specs, it looks like we could be looking at a slightly larger, 5.5″ Super AMOLED screen, a deliciously higher WSXGA+ resolution at 1680 x 1050 pixels, an 8-megapixel camera at the back, 1.5GB RAM, and a new Exynos 5250 chipset that boasts of a dual-core ARM-15 processor. International units are said to feature 4G connectivity, but of course, nothing has been officially announced by Sammy as of yet.
We’ll be keeping an eye on this one, folks, as I’m sure you all will too. Stay tuned…
