[Rumor] The LG Beast?

So we just got dropped a HUGE rumor, unfortunately it’s from LG (HA!). This new phone that’s going to be produced by LG, at the moment the LG L5970, also the G. The device is said to be released on Sprint, of all carriers, and when released it may be named the Eclipse 4G LTE.

Before I blow your mind with specs, can I ask this to our readers? Why do we feel the need when referring to a 4G enabled device do we also have to add LTE to the named. #jussayin now aren’t we too the point where everything that’s “4G” is also “LTE”? And if not, let’s have the LTE device have “LTE”, and the devices that can get 4G speeds the  ”4G”. /rant

Anyways let’s check out these rumored specs, in list format please:

• 2Gb of RAM (Does Android even need that???)
• 1.5Ghz Quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor (….That way everything you do will be liquid smooth, fast, while your battery….)
• 1280 x 768 resolution display (That seems…odd)
• LCD TFT Screen 4.67″
• Rear camera at 13mp (For you professional photographers…. who can’t afford DSLR)
• FFC 1.3mp (The rear cam definitely stole from the front)
• Memory: 16 GB
• 2100 mAh Battery (Samsung beat that…Can’t LG?)

Those are the rumored specs, how does everyone feel about that. Personally I would LOVE to test and compare that phone to other later year devices, such as the HTC One X and SGS3. The tipster who leaked this phone was also able to snag a pic of the back of the  device, which I hope is no where near the final copy.

The leaker, hah, also says that the devices is looking at an end of the year device. Is anybody now waiting for this? Do the specs seems like they would be average for an end-year Android.
