RUU file leaks for the HTC EVO 4G LTE before the device is even available

While, we’re still not even sure when Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G (aka Jewel) will be available, that doesn’t mean we can’t get in on a little Android development action, does it? For those of you who who know what to do with an RUU file, you might be interested to learn that said file for the device was leaked earlier, by Football – the same XDA Forums member who originally leaked the first two Ice Cream Sandwich RUU’s for the HTC Amaze — and is available for anyone who would like to tinker with the files and get a head start on the game. Of course, we do suggest that you steer clear of this file, unless you absolutely know what you’re doing.

At this rate, we may even see custom ROM’s ready for the device by the time it hits retail shelves. That’d be spectacular, wouldn’t it?
