Safely install AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich on the Samsung Galaxy Note
If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note and have been hankering for an easy way to flash an AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich ROM on your device, you’ve probably stumbled across some discussion in the forums about users having difficulty with the process, which is no longer as simple as just flashing a ROM in recover — I know… Why does shit always have to get complicated, right?

The method, which does require a bit more legwork than you’ll probably want to do, has been tested in the forums and all looks to be a go.
If you’re looking to install an ICS AOSP ROM on your Note, check out the tutorial thread for all the juicy details and download links to the proper kernel.
