Samsung Galaxy S III Mini confirmed with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean on board
Floating around the rumor mill lately has been talks of a Samsung Galaxy S III Mini. It seems that a German site has confirmed that it will launch and ship with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean loaded.
The Galaxy S III Mini will have Samsung’s new TouchWiz UI, a 1.0GHz dual core processor, a 4 inch WVGA touch screen, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 5 megapixel main camera, and VGA front facing cam. This places the Mini in “mid range”, as far as specs are concerned.
Now as far as price, the Galaxy S III Mini should be around $514 for an unlocked device. Compared to the Galaxy S III, which carries a price tag of about $550 – $600. This means the Mini could be considered not worth the purchase when you put it up against the specs of its bigger brother. We will leave that up to the consumer to decide.
