Samsung Making A Dual-Screen Tab?

We don’t know for sure. What we do know though is that earlier this month,  Kim Dong-Hun, the managing director for Samsung, filed for a patent for a “design for a terminal for portable mobile communication.” As you will be able to see in the picture below, if the design is to actually be manufactured it will be equipped with 2 7in screen in a clam shell design, along with having a remote/pointer accessory. Judging by including the pointer, I would assume this device is geared more towards businesses and associates.

Now, we all know how great dual-screen devices have been in the past (namely, the Sony tablet P and the Kyocera Echo) so I wonder how Samsung would try to accomplish the task and make their devices better. We all know that Samsung usually tries to push the envelope in design and form factor.  Another question is, do we need want dual screen tablets already? I’m not sure I do…
