Samsung now accepting registrations for Developers Day at IFA 2012 in Berlin
Berlin will be hosting this years IFA 2012 which is set to begin August 31st and runs until September 5th and it seems as if Samsung will be there. They will actually be doing their event on August 30th between 14:00 and 18:00. This appears to be a warm-up session to the actual IFA 2012 events.
First off, here’s a little about what IFA is for those of you who don’t know.
An unprecedented level of dynamic innovation combined with customers who are fascinated by new products have created a mood of optimism among manufacturers and the trade. IFA, now a uniquely successful globally event, has become indispensable as a venue for presenting globally important new products.
While there isn’t much information as to what Samsung will be talking about or even what new things they will be announcing and showing off to the world, we do know that they want us to “learn about the latest Samsung devices.” We’re not sure if that means devices such as the Galaxy SIII or if we’ll be seeing something new.
You can visit the Samsung page to apply for your chance to attend. The links are below. You can do this as of now and registrations will be accepted until July 29th. I’m sure this goes without saying, but if you wish to try and get accepted, you should probably apply now as there are a limited number of seats available. Once registrations are closed, then invitations will be sent out to those accepted on August 1st.
We’ve mentioned over the past week or two that there are rumors of a new Galaxy Note to be launched soon. This device is stated to have a 5.5 inch screen, quad-core CPU and will supposedly be running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. There are also the rumors of this device, called the Galaxy Note 2 as of now, to be sporting a massive 12MP or 13MP camera. Again, these are all rumors and we all know what that means. We just need to wait until IFA 2012 and find out then what’s really in store for us.
If you’re in the area or are dead set on attending this event, head on over to Samsung’s site by clicking the link below to register for IFA 2012. Let us know if you’re going to be attending and what you feel will be the “big news” coming from the Samsung event.
