The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is the one of the latest and greatest to come from Samsung. It’s the newest, fastest, hottest tablet to hit the market (until the ASUS Transformer Prime is available, of course). We’ve got some amazing news for you owners of this amazing device. Sammy decided to release the kernel source to us via their Open Source Release Center. This will show us what the developers of this truly great community can do. It’ll also give them a chance to show us what this device is truly capable of, and hopefully get to work on some Android 4.0 lovin’ for both devices.

The almighty S also released the kernel source for the redesigned German Galaxy Tab 10.1N. The Galaxy Tab 10.1N was, our sources tell us, the redesigned Galaxy Tab that was manufactured to avoid the Apple patent infringement. Although the Galaxy Tab 10.1N hasn’t been released yet, the source is still up for download. Why? Because Samsung is amazing.

Hit the links below for the files you’ll need to get you started, provided you’re ready to do some devvin’.

I started toying with Android in June of 2010. I got my first android phone on my 14th birthday from my Dad. I rooted it not too long afterwards and started messing with custom ROMs. Not to much longer after that (I’d say end of July, beginning of August) I started making themes. I made a whole series of themes called the midnight series. (http://droidforums.net/forum/davidjr621). I started my own ROM about mid November (which caused me to stop updating the midnight themes). The ROM had one or two releases then I didn’t have time to maintain it, along with my school work and after school activities.
