Samsung sways would-be iPhone4s buyers

Samsung has opened a temporary Samsung Galaxy S II store almost directly beside the Sydney Apple store and are offering the SGS2 for $2.  The idea behind this is to simply sway would be iPhone 4S buyers to instead pick up a Galaxy S II. There is a catch of course; only the first ten customers in line each day can purchase the device for $2 and the deal is only going on for one week. The temperary Galaxy store has seen a great deal of interest which can be expected considering the device you can buy; with the change in your pocket.

Some may say that this is a dirty play by Samsung; I say it is a great tactic that has been done before by other companies and if the shoe was on the other foot, Apple probably would have attempted something similar.

If I were to camp out in front of a store for days; A two dollar SGS2 would be my choice everytime!
