Sprint expands its LTE network with a few new markets

As you all know Sprint is the latest to join in the LTE network game, being completely beaten by Verizon and AT&T in terms of the sheer number of markets. A few days ago Sprint light a few more LTE markets and has started revamping the 3G service it has in other areas.

The list of the new markets is below:

  • Baltimore, Md
  • Gainesville, Ga
  • Manhattan/Junction City, Kan
  • Sedalia, Mo

And the revamped markets include:

  • Baltimore, Md
  • Boston, Ma
  • Washington D.C.

Hopefully this new 3G network will allow you to actually download a file without you having to get on WiFi. As for the new LTE markets, how are our readers who are located there like the insane  speeds? Sprint does actually have several great phones to utilize this new network, namely the Galaxy S 3 and Photon Q.

We’ll keep you updated as Sprint rolls out more networks updates, which, by the way, they have been quoted saying that they should be finished by the end of 2013. Speaking of LTE in 2013, uhh… T-Mobile?

    dude dont worry at least tmobile has a good network with its hspa+ as backhaul when it gets lte its not garbage like sprints cdma dsl 3g. and when tmobile gets LTE then what? they will have hspa+ and LTE and sprint only LTE with dsl 3g speeds
