Subway Surfer finally arrives for Android (and it’s free on Google Play!)

If you know someone who owns an iOS devices and plays games on it, there’s a good possibility you’ve at least heard of Subway Surfers before. If you’re unfamiliar, it is a Kiloo Games title that I like to describe as a mash-up of Temple Run and the 1980′s flick, “Back to the Future”, with a cartoonish spin.

The game weighs in at 22MB, which is relatively small in comparison to most of today’s games, but the gameplay and graphics are impressively smooth — and it’s free, so you really can’t go wrong here.

Check out the details, shamelessly hijacked from the app’s page on the Google Play store.

  • Grind trains with your cool crew!
  • Colorful and vivid HD graphics!
  • Hoverboard Surfing!
  • Paint powered jetpack!
  • Lightning fast swipe acrobatics!
  • Challenge and help your friends!
  • Join the most daring chase!

Were there enough exclamation points there for you?

Subway Surfers is definitely no Dead Trigger, but it’s certainly a decent game and one worth giving a try. If you’d like to give it a spin yourself, head on over to the Play Store with the link below.
