Surprising Official Galaxy Note 2 specs leaked!

Is everyone ready for a over-sized Galaxy S 3 with a stylus because that’s what the Note 2 is shaping up to be, and this doesn’t really shock me as the original Note was just a 5in Galaxy S 2. Yet, don’t let this hook fool you, the Note 2 will be a beast of a device, just not all that original.

So what specs are making me make these accusations? Why don’t you take a look at the list below:

• 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display (1280x720p resolution)
• Exynos 4412 1.4 quad-core processor
• 8MP rear camera
• 16GB and 32GB storage
• 4G LTE
• Android 4.1.1 Jellybean (Rumored)

With the exception of the screen size, does this not remind you of an international Galaxy S 3? I have one and they seem pretty similar to me. And look at that last bullet, Android 4.1 Jellybean. Now all of these specs are supposedly official, by the guys from gottabemobile, yet Jellybean is most definitely the specification to take with the biggest grain of salt.

Also in the Korean newspaper that this leak was posted, it was hinted that the Note 2 will not features the same curves in devices design that the original Note had. That would definitely be a direct result of the Apple v Samsung lawsuit, that recently just briefly ended. I’m sure Sammy doesn’t want to shell out another billion dollars.

We still have a few days before Samsung’s unpacked event, at IFA in Berlin, and it would be insane for Samsung to not reveal this device. They’ve already announced everything else that we have any clue about. Also, if all these specs are true, especially shipping with Jellybean, how do you guys feel about the Note 2? I already know I want one…
