SwiftKey 3 Beta with a Jubilee Gift

If you are a SwiftKey VIP member then you need to get over to the SwiftKey VIP forums and get the newest Beta 3 release. The SwiftKey team is continuing to update one of my favorite keyboards for my tablet and phone. Just to give you an idea on how much faster and more efficient this keyboard can make you, since I have started using  SwiftKey I have saved 36,011 keystrokes, 3,859 words have been completed for me, 6,716 typos corrected and 1023 next words have been predicted for me and in turn making me 25% more efficient in my typing. This is all since February when I got this new device and downloaded Swiftkey as I always do on my devices.

I can say the SwiftKey team likes to have a little fun at the same time they make improvements. Have you ever wanted to sound British? In the new Beta 3 version Swiftkey has included a cool little piece to help you do just that, the Jubilee gift commemorating Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee. They used artificial intelligence software to analyse Queen Elizabeth II’s speeches to enable you to add a regal touch when you type. The “English (Queen’s)” language model is available to SwiftKey X and SwiftKey Tablet X users, as well as users of the new SwiftKey 3 Beta.

Here are some other improvements in Beta 3

• Improved prediction algorithms
• Better, more consistent punctuation key behavior
• Smarter Smart Space functionality (which will make it easier to enter email addresses etc)
• A refined experience in Google Chrome Beta
• Fixed missing predictions on the longpress of @ and .com
• Improved gestures
• Eliminated lag on letter pop-ups
• Various other minor bug fixes and usability improvements
