Just a few short weeks ago, Imangi Studios released the much awaited game of theirs, Temple Run for our wonderful Android community. During the few short weeks since it’s release, 10 million people have downloaded the app/game making it a huge success for Android. Also during the time since its release, several bugs have been found and reported. Therefore today, Imangi Studios has given us a brand new update to this awesome little game.

This update today fixes several bugs which we will list below as well as given players the ability to post screenshots of their scores to their Twitter account so they can brag and actually show proof of what they claim they are scoring. So if your buddy says he get 11,000,000+ in Temple Run, simply give him the famous line: Pics or it didn’t happen!!

Now, as promised, here is a short list of what this update brings us as far as a couple of fixes. It’s not much, but it’s something. The biggest thing of course, will be the Twitter integration.

  1. Twitter integration! You can now brag about your high score on Twitter!
  2. Fixed a bug with scoring that was making it harder to get points.
  3. Fixed a bug that made the runner accelerate too fast.
  4. Fixed a bunch of other bugs and some spelling mistakes.

If you don’t have this game installed yet, I strongly suggest and recommend that you click on the download link I’ll provide below and head on over to the Google Play Store and grab it and start running for your life.

I’m also interested to hear how good our fellow readers are at this game. I’ll be honest, I’m not very good. My high score, well, isn’t really all that high. It currently sits at: 186,210 and the most coins I’ve managed to pick up in one run is 539. I’ve also only run for 2,138M so far.
