The Google Nexus 7 Tablet Is Officially Official
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally come today during the Google I/O Keynote speech that just ended. Google announced the much anticipated ASUS Google Nexus 7 tablet. And I must tell you, this thing appears to be a total beast!! However, it’s quite a beautiful looking beast at that! This tablet is a must have!!
There are two versions available to order directly from the Google Play Store. One is the 8GB for $199 and the second is the 16GB at $249. Yeah, that’s damn right, you read those prices correctly. That’s dirt cheap for a tablet in the first place. But wait until you see the specs of this thing. It’s a quad-core tablet with 12-core GPU. That’s 16 total cores working within this little 7″ tablet to make it the best thing since sliced bread in my opinion!
The best thing about this tablet in my opinion isn’t just the price, but the fact that it comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. For those of you who didn’t get to catch the keynote speech, there are a LOT of new improvements to Jelly Bean over Ice Cream Sandwich that are going to be totally awesome. However, there are other posts that will be speaking about that specifically, so I’ll leave it to those posts here on our site to go into those details. You can see that post here: Jelly Bean 4.1
