Tips from the Forums: Disable Instant Upload in Google+
Many thanks to AndroidSamurai from the OMG!Droid Forums for putting together this nice little how-to, shedding some light on disabling instant uploads from within the Google+ Android application. This could come in handy for all you shutterbugs out there who take tons of pictures, but don’t necessarily want every one uploaded to Google Plus. This is also essential for saving bandwidth on those highly acclaimed “unlimited” data plans most of us are rocking these days — it doesn’t take a genius to figure out; if you take a lot of pictures and every one of them automatically uploads — your going to run out of data sooner than you’d like.
Keep reading after the break for the entire walkthrough. Thanks AndroidSamurai!
Hi all,
AndroidSamurai here with another great tip to get one of those pesky Android monkeys off your back.
I have already come across a few threads around the net today about how to disable the instant upload feature in Google+. This How-To is going to be simple and straight to the point.
1. Start by opening Google+ on your device.

2. Next we are going to tap our “Menu” button/key and select settings.

3. Scroll down until you see the check-box for Instant Upload and set it how you like.

4. If you want more advanced options just go into “Instant Upload Settings”

Well, that concludes my How-To on disabling Instant Upload in Google+. I hope you all enjoyed and found it useful!
