Unlocked RAZR???

Has Motorola actually done what it promised last year, and unlocked one of it phones? FUCK No. Yet, does that stop our wonderful community from getting their hands dirty and proving to manufacturers that we will own our devices as we want to, no it sure doesn’t.

Last month, a “Kexec” bootloader bypass method was discovered for the GSM Motorola RAZR which allows users to unlock the bootloader and be able to flash completely customs ROMs and kernels, also extremely broadening the range of possibilities we have to brick our phones The developers of this kecxec bypass,  kholk and [mbm], have now made the exploit fully public. So all you GSM RAZR users, have a fun weekend.

Please note that there are two major issues with this exploit. First, the exploit only allows one core to perform after it has been used, so no dual-core-ness. Also, this exploit WILL NOT work for CDMA RAZRs at the moment, so don’t try it. Anyways, have fun guys, brick away.
