Verdict: Chalk one up for Google in lawsuit against Oracle

The verdict is in and rules in favor of Google in the search engine giant’s patent infringement case with Oracle. The case stemmed from infringement counts on eight different claims across two separate patents: RE38,104 and 6,061,520. After over a week of deliberations, the case presided by Judge William Alsup is finally over and was noted as being ”the longest trial, civil trial” the judge has ever been in.
