WordPress for Android gets updated to support Featured Images and brings a New Stats View

Today WordPress for Android got a nice small update. Although some of the independent bloggers that use the app may disagree that it’s a small update. The update does bring support for Featured Images, a New Stats View, as well as the normal performance and stability fixes we see in any update to an app.

The only thing I would have liked to see added in this update, was a complete UI overhaul to make the app coincide with Google’s new App guidelines and give it that Holo feel. But its still a great looking app and does get the job done, which is to publish new posts on the go.
