You’ve Tried the Rest, Now Try the Best – HootSuite for Android

If you’re tired of trying countless apps for your social networking accounts, look no further, as I’m about to drop a true gem on you today. HootSuite is, by all means, the most efficient social experience you can obtain on the planet; it allows you to manage your accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare right in one convenient location; and let’s face it kids, almost everything boils down to convenience these days.  Anything that will make my life easier – I’m all for it, and that’s exactly what HootSuite‘s product does.

HootSuite’s interface is extremely easy to navigate. It looks sleek, and everything is pretty straightforward. The landing screen of the app displays everything you will need:

Twitter

• Home feed
• Mentions
• Direct message inbox
• Sent messages

Facebook (profile)

• News feed
• Pending

Facebook (pages – one of my personal favorite features)

• News feed

Foursquare

• Recent check-ins
• Your history

When creating a message or tweet, your networks are displayed as thumbnails at the top of the post window. All you have to do is click on the selected networks to which you would like to send your message, create your message, and click send to broadcast across multiple accounts at once.

Another one of the most important features this app provides for me is the ability to schedule tweets and posts. This is a really handy tool for bloggers looking to make sure there tweets are being seen by as many of their users as possible. For example, whenever I create a new post for OMG!Droid, I will schedule it to tweet out 2-3 times a day during high user volume times to ensure that my tweet isn’t going unnoticed.
